Rose Fesitival Race, early 70s

Mt. Tabor, Portland, Oregon

Steve Lubin told me he rode this race when he was going to school in Eugene. He's in 4th position, in the Pedali Alpini jersey. Gradually we'll get all these details worked out and have accurate race info! Mt. Tabor is the cinder cone of an allegedly extinct volcano. The park's road course is excellent and has been used for bike racing since the late 50s.
