This camera came off the production line in Wetzlar, Germany on Feb. 7, 1962. I was 14. My uncle bought it new from the camera shop in Beaverton. But he didn't like it, he went back to his Exacta. He gave me the camera in 1967 and I've been using it ever since. It's been to Leica for an overhaul twice. The optical quality is superb, still unrivaled. I carry this around with Tri-X in it and will until the day I croak.
