Yes! Purity in B&W.

The boy is proud. Pride is dangerous for one who would be Jedi, yet see great power in him. He will train and learn The Way. Then he will be ready.

Okay, am I the only one whose lips twitched over the Jedi-In-Training remark? Grin. Great execution here Chris. Nice nod to Niall too. :)

In re to the message...I could be mistaken, but this partial view is very reminiscent of the Goddess, Ganga. In particular, the water vessel, and hair here which is like that of flowing water.

In short, (and all this you may know) Ganga is the personification of the river Ganges. It has been said that the name and the touch of Ganga absolves one from all sins, thus the reason behind the Hindu belief in bathing , as well as the scattering of ashes, in the Ganges. As I said, Ganga is my closest guess, as this is not a 'common' depiction (known to me anyway). However, if it is, it is most impressive in my opinion as it is by your own creation and realization of Ganga. And your artist has carried out this vision to perfection.

As a side note, Ganga is also know as Vishnupadi. (Vishnu's foot) as she originated from the foot of Vishnu.

This is a very strong self Portray. I love the use of shadow and light in this image it adds to the drama that is displayed in this photograph. I love te shadows that are vislbile around your eyes and features. Very nice addition to an already angry mood. I like this a lot Chris. Voting.

Great negative space oozing in back of you.. the definition of face.. of features in the light followed by the flowing ink of black. And that look.. MWB4Life, indeed.... :P
