20050721 / New Ride

Salinas Valley Ford / Salinas, CA

After an hour or so of dotting the i's and crossing the t's with
Smilin' Chuck the Salesman, The Friendly Giant squeezed into his
new daily driver. Avoiding comparisons to Go-Karts, Bumper Cars &
Wind 'Em-Ups, I took the inaugural shot of 6'8" Chris folding himself
Cirque Du Soleil-Style into his new Ford Focus. I am pretty sure if
he lays down on the ground beside it, he is longer head to toe than
the car is bumper to bumper.

Enjoy it bro. :)

10 years and 150,000 miles later the Focus is still running strong. Wish it was still in that great of shape though ;)

LOL! My boyfriend in college was 6'5 and drove a 911. Very funny!

As long as his head doesn't touch the roof he's fine :>)

He does appear tall, looking at this picture. Seems like he is used to squeezing into some cars :) Great expression on his face.

Great expression. To be honest, he looks quite comfortable in there, unless of course he's sitting in the backseats like Hightower used to!
Pepe Zyman22-Jul-2005 04:19
Did they have to do any modifications to the seats?

That is a tight squeeze! At least he stayed away from the Mini Coopers!

lol...great caption and expression on The Friendly Giant! :) Man, 6'8" in a Foucs, that is a tight squeeze! By the way, thanks for the bug ID on my macro; it was most helpful! I did some futher checking based on your ID, and apparently the genus is hell if I know ;-)
