14-JAN-2007 Red and Blue

14th January

well i'm down to a 70-300mm lens now(well it's not broke on me yet!)
and i'm finding it tough having to stand miles(ok, maybe not miles) away
from what i want to take a photo of and all the funny looks i get from people!!
so it's going to be an interesting week or so ahead... :-/

however, I have found that the Z2 does work more in macro mode
so i might just do macro pics all week heheh

The Cat's going to be my new Co-Worker: ;-)

Nikon D50
1/125s f/4.0 at 70.0mm full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

Lots of happy color, Zak. Your pictures are always interesting, doesn't matter which camera.

You've painted the island red!

Nice- color coordinated. Makes a great shot. Telephotos are grear- it gives you a headstart if someone starts chasing you ;-)

You can do great close ups with 300mm :-)
LOL @ Laine!

It's not quite the same, though. Is it? Shame about the lens... I'm sure you'll improvise.

Are those lorries cranes for putting in the boat? I really like this
composition Zak!

Very nice perspective, you got us, very attractive macro..vote

Superb picture. Sometimes being forced to (or being lazy like me) use a long lens can create new pictures out of the familiar. Go for it!

bummer, hope the ebay lens turns up soon! :-)

It does change the perspective of pictures. I find this little "test" of your skills to be interesting to watch!

Remember to watch where your stepping back to...they don't swim those Nikons,
Linda Alstead14-Jan-2007 18:19
Is the colour match because the lorries are part of the same business or is it just coincidence? Like it either way!
Nicki Thurgar14-Jan-2007 17:47
So colourful! A change is sometimes good for you, makes you see things differently, well from further away anyway! ;o)
Herb 14-Jan-2007 17:17
Nice image

Consecutive number plates and matching colour combos!
Johnny JAG14-Jan-2007 16:57
Nice colour matching.

like how all the colours line up in the shot. The Cat looks like it is going to the dogs, not long before they collect this one I suspect.
