I don't know whether you could call today "autumn" with a temperature of 33-C but
the garden is telling me it is! Above is leaves of an old Gallica rose called
"Cardinal Richelieu" or "Rose van Sian" which has gorgeous purple roses in spring
bred in Belgium, released onto the market pre-1847.
and here's a rose that's actually called "Fruhlingsmorgen" aka "Spring Morn"
