I drove down into Clarendon today because Dick told me the Stone Cottage was looking fantastic right now with all the wisteria out in bloom.

Other purples were in bloom too, like this bearded iris



and here is the wrought-iron gate, which was closed this morning
or I would have gone in for a coffee, which would have been
rather delightful with all the purple-toned flowers!
