We've noticed the English roses are tending to bloom right now in our winter. This is one that was bred by David Austin called Heritage. Mine has reached 3 metres in height and 2 metres in width, its a massively tall and upright shrub rose and matches the climbing "New Dawn" on the adjacent archway in colour and height. There won't be any more blooms until spring (November) - I've just finished pruning it.
