I made a special effort today to drive down into the valley to take photos before
the leaves disappeared. The valley has been especially pretty this autumn, the
best I can remember for many years...probably attributed to the coldest autumn on record for at least 100 years!
I took this photo in a disused experimental orchard, though from this angle
you only get to see the ancient oaks... and a little out building that the vandals
have left alone thankfully!
There was a problem with the back lighting - the sun was low, but this shot
seems to be okay. I used a polarizer but haven't really got the knack of using it with this lens yet...
