On the wall in Dick's study.

Another go at typing quite a long story about this photo, just lost the lot!

The photo includes Dick's great-grandfather and dates back quite a way.
The way the men are dressed reminds me of my grandfather, he would always
wear a 3 piece suit, fob watch and flower in the lapel whenever he left
the house they lived in. A lovely memory for me.

they look indeed prestigious! but it had also to do with the way they were taking photo's at that time: everybody got dressed up and stared for many minutes into the camera

Ah yes, a wonderful photo! My wife has a real old one that makes some of her ancestors look like the Beverly Hillbillies. LOL
