At home

Yesterday while out photographing the bluebells a flock of sulphur crested cockatoos flew into
our garden, so I tried to capture a few photos of them even though I had the wrong lens in.
In the main picture you are peering through the fronds of a gymea lily to see one on the gazebo, there
were 3 but 2 flew off. Here are 3 on the aviary, and a photo of one of the clumps of
bluebells that I was in the garden photographing when they arrived.

We've had immature King Parrots here the past couple of days. Not so many Cockatoos since the drought broke....their such cheeky birds :)

it sounds Yvonne like my luck with birds, but you caught them on the aviary! and concerning the blue bells I see a lot of them similar in the paddocks but then white, they are the same then? great story and captures

The bluebells look lovely! It seems to me that sulphur crested cockatoos are becoming more numerous, or perhaps that's just where I live which is well into the suburbs of Brisbane. They fly around in flocks, very noisy, somewhat destructive, but I like to see them!!
