Water catchment area

Clarendon - South Australia

This was the view on the other side of the road when I peaked through the
trees to take a couple of photos. This is a little of how this area would
have looked before European settlement.

It seems there is no corner of the globe now that has not been thoroughly explored, mapped, settled (and exploited), I wonder if those first European settlers had any idea what an opportunity they had or how fortunate they were.

Very nice view and great array of tones. With all the eucalyptus and Bottlebrush trees we have here which were imported from Australia you could probably find a similar view here.
