Challenge - K for Kangaroo Sign - December 11

Outside our farm gate

We've lived here 30 years and have seen ONE kangaroo in that time, yet we have
a new sign just outside our loading gate! A koala sign would have made more
sense, we've often a visiting koala who takes up residence weeks at a time.
He's not here right now, otherwise he would have featured for today's "K"

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
1/250s f/5.6 at 115.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Leave it to the authorities to put signs where they're not needed.

This is great. Especially your explanation. So, there are two "K" in fact.

I remember these signs when I visited there....never saw one 'roo except in a wildlife habitat area.

We don't have kangaroos here but a few years back there was a strange looking creature that was seen in one of the suburbs that folks said looked like a 'roo. Where it came from and where it went is still a mystery. Well done.

Perhaps they're being driven further into the hills as the urban sprawl takes over....good luck protecting your roses if they do !!! :>(

Never seen one of these signs...deer & horses are the most common animal signes. Nice find and like the shadows
