The old Nikkormat

I got the idea from Colin Clarke who still operates his old Nikkormat. Ours
is circa 1970's and has been a great camera. Trouble is the weight!
The leather case itself is almost as heavy as my Canon D40! Neither
of us were keen to lug it around on hikes, one got a sore neck after a while!
It takes fabulous shots

That is a proper camera,Yvonne. As you know, it is built like a brick, weighs as much but is a real workhorse. Still have ours and although it has been dropped many times it is as reliable as ever - must use it again!!

This was (still is) a great camera! I lugged one around on backpack trips several years in the 1970's. I loved that camera and the results it got. J. R.
