Yesterday afternoon, we went up to Ft. Klamath for a picnic with our granddaughter. She played along the lake as I took photos. We then went to the fish hatchery and she fed the baby fish.
I was raised in an area much like this one. It was Owen's Valley, California. It was a high plateau, tucked in between the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the White Mountains. I learned to swim in a freezing lake like this one (although mine was created by a glacier! Lol!) I never tired of seeing the mountain peaks of the Sierra's and frequently camped up there in the summers.
