Sonny Wilfong providing "Full Service" and a pack of gum with each fill up just off the square in Haskell.
Playing this weekend at the Texas Theatre - King Kong vs Godzilla.
It was in this theatre that I saw "A Hard Days Night".

Excellent photo! I would often visit with Sonny on the way to sell coke bottles at the M-System Supermarket. Pure Haskell Americana.

Wow, Mike, this picture is another trip back into my own past. I saw A Hard Day's Night there, too. And I remember not understanding a word of the Liverpool accents for the first 15 minutes or so. It's very strange to see such vivid pictures of the places I spent my early life from over here in Germany.

Classic. And I like the matching red on the pump and the pickup. (And I guess Kong won since he's making a comeback.)
