It was easily 6 feet long. This pic was taken about a week after I nearly stepped on a Desert Rattlesnake. At least the rattler made some noise. It was still hard to spot it, though. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera for that one. Just a rifle. I still didn;t get the shot, tho.
