Near the cabins of Canyon Village this little gal went from one place to the next, finding
long-hidden pine cones that had 'ripened' since she hid them during the winter. One can
nearly see how tasty they are now...

You hand-held your 500mm+1.4x??? That's why you used high iso???
But 1D II N's high iso still produced good quality pictures!

I'll go to Yellowstone on July 29th for a 8-day trip---but with a tour. I will only have a 300mm+1.4x with me. That's all I can hold. You must be trained. Q___Q
