'Otto the Lion Monkey contemplating his life had he been born a Monkey Lion'.

Taken 2003 in the Monkey House in the Bronx Zoo, NY. I must say that
this is not the typical image of a Lion Tamarin, but 'Otto' here was
obviously in deep thoughts while he was posing for me.

The Monkey House these days only houses smaller animals and their cages
are all modeled nicely after the natural environment you'd find them in
in the wild. However the space is still very restricted.

Technically the image was difficult to capture since there is hardly any
light, the monkeys are behind thick and not perfectly clean glass.
Taken on a tripod, lens close to the glass, reflection reduced using
a black reflector, with mirror lock-up and remote release.
