Posted this in fun.....was panning for the mallard but was too fast...like the look of the picture...so sharing...maybe some others like it also....sort of good for a chuckle too

Thanks for the positive comments...sometimes our best pictures just turn up....panning can create quite a artistic background..in this case.....it turned out well.

I just came to know about this concept of panning a couple of days ago... The art of photography became even more amazing for me. Your picture, though you were expecting to have the bird centered in it, is just wondeful. It makes one wonder... It would have been sort of a bigger task if the intention was to capture what you (accidentally) just did: panning (only) the head of the bird. Beautiful picture.
