Last weekend's singing retreat facilitated by singer/songwriter/spiritual feminist/earth protector Carolyn McDade was marvelous. It rained all weekend but no one cared. Thirty women singing in a circle on the shores of Crystal Lake near Michigan's Sleeping Bear Dunes proved to be perfectly idyllic in all regards. I even found time to take six new photos to add to the ever-growing list of possibilities for my Self Portrait/Daily Life series. As of tonight (Wednesday) I have 58 possible images, but I'm not yet ready to open them up to public view. When the time is right I'll share. Before I do, though, I need to choose between several versions of the same shots. What a job I have taken on, but one that I love dearly. There's nothing I'd rather be doing.
