California Condor #3

Grand Canyon

Was looking over Grandview point on our way out of the park this morning,
and only had a video camera on me at the time, and my Uncle Bill had his 15-30mm on.
This guy showed up and came within 20 ft over my head, camera still in car,
but video camera running at least!
He landed in this tree while I was able to get out the camera and wait in the snow, and cold wind!
Finally he took off, but I was waiting on the buffer and only got a couple shots off.
Better then nothing at least.

Great shot! I love the way the snow is flying.

The sad thing is, this was my 2nd to last shot of a condor.

Wes, I think you got the best Condor shot of the trip.

Excellent shot Wes! Glad you were able to get to the camera before he took to flight.
