Bochum Mayor House was built in the twenties of last century.
Only a few relics of the artificial sculptures for the Mayor House have survived from that time.
Among them two water wells in the interior yard of the house:
the water well of beauty and the water well of fortune.
This little sculpture is at the water well of fortune, a symbol for fertility.
