Harry's sister and her husband were coming up for the week end, so I headed up to Harry's for the week end once again. Saturday's hike was different for us - no moving water involved, but some killer views. We headed to the Black Balsam area off the Blue Ridge Parkway and parked at the end. The plan was to head up the Ivestor Gap Trail to the gap, then maybe continue up the Art Loeb Trail for a bit, then turn around and take Art Loeb back to the parking area. The day started out chilly, but it was a beautiful day to be in the high country. This is one of the views from the Ivestor Gap Trail.
