Easter weekend 2007 will be one to remember around here. The previous weeks produced record high temps prompting trees and flowers to bloom early. This week end's temps did a 180 with lows in the teens in places where the wildflowers were starting to bloom. I had planned a camping trip to the Smokies to shoot wildflowers, but canceled and headed up to my friend Harry's place in Lake Toxaway instead. Got there early Friday afternoon and we decided to head to the Whitewater River for some exploring upriver from Hwy 281. Here's a small cascade.
