A few minutes later we were walking along the trail - I have no idea what I was doing, but I wasn't looking ahead on the trail. Cindy hollared for me to wake up and I looked up just in time not to scare off this great blue heron in the trail. She should have just stopped and shot while I either ran into this thing, or it scared the mess out of me when it took off.
