The trail from the beach towards the dock is another sandy lane that passes by some of the camp sites. The sites are nice and camping is about your only chance of being on the island for the good early morning and late afternoon light. This is the the office right by the dock where you would check in for camping and they do have carts to load camping supplies into and pull to your site. I was told you could bring anything you can carry, but the ferry has limited room.
