This section of the falls is below where JC and I were in the last shots. It would be a nice stand alone falls with more water and some green leaves. Here it's just a small section of Battle Creek as it falls towards the lake. Mid day shooting in sunny conditions usually doesn't yield very good photos, and today was no different, but they do show what you are in for if you can make the trip in. From here, the creek makes a big drop. We could see Bernie's orange cap below and it looked like we could scramble down the left side along a rock wall to get down. We got most of the way down, then came to a dead end at a steep slippery area. It wasn't worth the risk, so we climbed back up to where we split with Bernie earlier and took a safer way down.
