Cindy and I planned this trip back in May when we first met at Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We reserved 2 camp sites next to each other not knowing that this meeting would develop into a permanent relationship between us. Departure day finally arrived - along with some pretty nasty weather. We had both vehicles packed full and finally got on the road after we let the storm front pass. As we got on I-40, this rainbow appeared and I couldn't help getting the camera out and snapping a shot through the windshield. I wouldn't normally do this, but it had to be a sign for a great week ahead of us.
