It's still a nice spot to visit, despite the fallen trees. We hung around a bit, but then began hearing thunder. Time to head out. By now it was about 4PM - still plenty of time to hike to Rainbow and Turtleback Falls - but the skies looked kind of scary. I went ahead and pulled in the entrance, but in the end we decided to save the hike for another day.
