We were trying to think of a good hike that might yield some fall color and decided on the Daniel Ridge Loop Trail. Harry and I did part of it last week, but turned around when we realized the color wasn't what we were expecting. It's had another week to marinate, so I was expecting some good stuff. Plus, it's a 4 mile hike with some good ups and downs and a chance to burn off some of the large portions of food we had ingested the night before. I didn't shoot much on the section of trail we were on last week, but here's a different version of the last waterfall we saw before we bailed out.
