Fall color in the Lake Toxaway is kind of spotty. It was really nice with lots of peak color in the area Harry lives in and there was a lot of color up Cold Mountain Rd on the way to Panthertown Valley. A lot of other areas including Hwy 281 south towards Gorges State Park and Whitewater Falls still have a lot of green. Maybe tonight's freeze will speed the process along.
