If you are looking to visit waterfalls for photography purposes, skip these. They seem to always have fallen trees and other clutter in them. I knew that but was hoping for the wildflowers. So were other people. I saw 2 groups of people on the trail that had Kevin Adams' NC Wildflower Hikes book. He lists this trail as a good one. It's just that we were a week or so early.
