This week end was quite different than most. I've had kind of a bug to get something to paddle in, but wasn't sure what to get. I needed something I could shoot stills and video from with relative ease. After quite a bit of looking around I chose a Sevylor Colorado inflatable canoe. Huh?? you might say, but it fit the type of paddling I want to do, it's durable, inexpensive, and deflates to fold up for easy transport. Harry - a canoe person - was excited when I told him, so I headed up there for a week end of floating. He lives on a small lake, so I inflated it on Friday when I got up there and gave it a try. Saturday we loaded both on his Prius and headed for Bear Creek Reservoir.
