This image is a mystery to all of us, just as you intended. Rich in scale and subject incongruity, it looks like an illustration for a whimsical children's book. You are amazing, Shirley -- keep challenging our imaginations with abstraction, incongruity, and human values ( and yes, this is a humane shot -- it suggests daring and exploration, the essence of Man in Space.
