WO Daniel Demers

It is with profound sadness that I must announce the death of our friend and comrade,
WO Dan Demers on the 24th of June 2008.

WO Demers has been with 872 for the last 2 years volunteering his time and energy to
our squadron. In that time period, I know that he has had a profound impact on all of us.
He gave immensely of himself. His positive attitude, extensive expertise, patience,
wisdom and genuine caring were hallmarks of his time with us. He will be sorely missed.

I know that each and everyone of you joins me in extending our deepest condolences to
his family in their loss of this unique and wonderful individual.

872 squadron will be sending a donation in WO Demers name to the charity chosen
by the family.

I just found out...I worked with Dan at CFRC Ottawa for more than 2 years. He was an amazing man, and will be sorely missed. God Speed my friend.

That's VERY sad, that's a big loss of someone who gave so much. Thanks for sharing a glimpse in to his life and the pictures. Sounds like a guy that had a good impact on all that knew him.

We are lost for words. Our paths crossed both in the regular force and then again in cadets where my son and his peers held him in such high regard.
