Cleaning up after a Hippo is not an easy task. 3 times a week 2 divers vacuum the thank and scrub the walls. The fish don't seem to mind and they keep the hippos out for a bit. Seems the hippos DO mind. They like to chase the divers. Thanks to the St. Louis Zoo staff for a relaxing couple of hours of showing me around.
