Acer detail

Crop of 1600ppi scan with no post proc. This is a 0.95cm square section from the original. The whole image would be approx 1.2m square at screen resolution. I'm not sure if scanning at 3200ppi would get any more detail. The camera and film might be capable of more, but this is hand held and might not be quite in focus. Operator at fault!

Very smooth grain, like you said before. The color is still very nice. I find that Pbase compression sometimes doesn't handle saturated color, especially blue, all that well... As we wouldn't normally (ok, you're gonna do a mural!) look at it this big, the soft focus wouldn't be an issue.
