Lady Luck hasn't been looking after he Lurker over the winter, Tucked up in the dry of the garage, I even put a de humidifier in the car to keep it dry. To bad I didn't notice that it was draining out of the bottom of the machine, rather than into the collecting tank. When I ventured out into that garage to wake old lurker for another summer's fun, I found an inch of water in the footwells... just as well old VW have rubber mats and not expensive carpets...

On the plus side, there's no real damage, and the engine which hasn't run in 5 months cranked over to full oil pressure quickly, started and ran well. It's all just a little damp in there!
