Jan 3: Guitar landscape

I've been trying to get this picture right for months. Last time I tried, I ended up posting a picture of Rosie instead. I know what I want to get, but right now, without any studio space, I'm struggling. This time, I've got something good enough to post as PotD. It's still not quite right though. The DoF is far too shallow - getting the lighting and composition right took priority, and the rest went to hang. There's also a reflection of our bedroom curtains in the the rim of the front guitar (top left). As of the end of the week, I'll have a studio and can try again!

Thanks for revealing the "shortcomings" - I wouldn'nt have seen it otherwise :-)
Fine shot David.

Maybe when you kit your new studio out, you could disguise them as eggs or something...;->

Looks great already - looking forward to the improved version!

If you think the reflection in these is bad you should try taking photos of a trumpet! :o)
