Mar 28: The Seaton

This is the Seaton, where it passes between the old South and West Caradon mines. I took a series of these, all hand held as Linda had the tripod, and I wasn't expecting to get anything worth looking at. There was a lot of blurred rubbish, but this half second exposure is not too bad at all. OK, so it won't make a good 10"x15" print, but pretty good for hand held! I didn't bother with mirror lock-up... ;-)

Steady, now.... There!

Very nice composition. I'd like to see the contrast pushed a little more to bring out a few more darker tones in the rocks and foliage. Very nice image though :)

I'd be pretty pleased with myself if this shot was mine handheld. You've achieved pretty sharp focus on the rocks and land as well as the blurring motion of the water.
