Mar 18: Waiting for a plane

Wonderful clear blue sky today - just like it was in SF 2 weeks ago (see new gallery here) only with a stop less light to play with. Despite still having this cold, I ventured outside to try to capture the blue sky in black and white, just as this plane flew over the moon. Seems very apt for today as Linda's leaving Baltimore this evening, arriving at Heathrow tomorrow morning.

This is awesome! How come I never see things like this, let alone capture them? Well done.

This is fantastic! Flying over the moon.

Is there an extra stop in CA because of the latitude? I've been trying to figure out what the one stop difference is.

Excellent capture. Hope you feel better soon-sneezing over at this end of the world too.. (passes the tea along) Glad Linda will be home soon too.

Very nice! I have tried to capture a similar shot many times but have been a miserable failure at it. Very nice indeed! :o)

Fantastic shot, David! Either you have a knack for impeccable timing, or you're extremely lucky! I'd love to get a shot like this sometime.
