Feb 27: Yet more glass

Yes, I’m still having fun with wine glasses. Also, still having fun with iPhoto 5. It’s really very good. Much faster than version 2 and it has some really neat ways of finding the picture you’re looking for. For example, you can view all the pictures from a particular year, month, week or day. Really handy for finding the original version of a PotD that someone wanted, or just for archiving a months work. The editing features, tho basic compared to PS, are good, and quite similar to some actions I’ve set up for PS 6. The straighten tool with it’s overlaid grid lines is excellent. One thing though. Exporting this picture as an 800x533 jpg results in a 112K file. Save for web in PS Elements 2 gives a 28K file... Bad Apple! Maybe there’s a job for Automator in there somewhere... Where’s my Tiger?

Nice shot David. We've just uploaded iPhoto5 - but I don't like the way iPhoto stores more than one copy of each photo - perhaps they've changed that.
