I replaced the 1300 with a 1641cc with all kinds of tricks. Counter-weighted crank, 041 heads, a 110 cam, a single Weber 32/36 DFAV carb, all built the right way by John Maher, but badly set up by me. That first 'hot' engine lasted 25,000 miles of abuse before needing a total rebuild, with new heads, new case, and the Weber 40IDF carb shown here. At that point, I painted the tinware pink (a Porsche shade you understand) an added lots of chrome bits. The same engine is now in the Lurker with twin Dellorto DRLA 40s - and without the pick bits!
