Nov 5: Rosie

After yesterday's dreadful shot, I thought I needed a bit of quality to prove I've still got it. Whatever 'it' is, and assuming I ever had 'it' in the first place... So here's a black dog against a black background. They said it couldn't be done. To make things difficult, the pair of them, (Rosie and Archie) were rushing around barking like mad as it's "firework night". Rosie's got one ear closed due to all the whizz-bang going on outside, while listening intently to me with the other... "S-T-A-Y..."

Well, you certainly habe IT, whatever IT is... I consider your work to be one of the standards here on pbase, one of the goto's each day. A very nice photo of Rosie. She's a gorgeous dog and her personality really shines in your pictures of her. Our Sophie would have been right by my side had there been fireworks. Guy Fawkes?

Hello Rosie!! mine is currently cowering behind the sofa, she had an opperation a few days ago and we are trying to keep her calm...not working poor dog :-(

Just beautiful. What kind of lighting did you use. Wish I could keep mine from charging the camera long enough to get such a sweet shot. Most of my good shots of Airlie are the result of stealth and subtrifuge.

Beautiful Rosie - looks like she'd pose for you all day. :)

Would butter melt in her mouth? No - it wouldn't stay there long enough, she'd have it wolfed down in moments. She is still the most beautiful dog though - the Kate Moss of the dog world!
