Oct 21: Fabric again

The same subject as yesterday. My white studio brolly. Usually I take several shots of my PotD subject and choose the one I like best. 8 shots yesterday. Today, I took just one shot. Why? Just for the challenge of it. I'd read this: The Modern Camera and the Dilution of Effort an essay on the loss of craft in photography by Bruce Wilson. You might think it's a load of old cr**, but I found it interesting.

Wonderful b&w David - and many tx for the tip on the essay - reading it was really worth the time taken.

I like this . . . and the other one . . . and I enjoyed the essay . . .it gave me something to think about. But personally I LIKE snap shots .. . and I doubt I'll ever be any better a fotog than a 'snap' shooter. But I'm OK with that. It's me.

A very interesting essay David - thanks for the link. Both of these fabric shots are very well done.

It's b&w photos like this that make one realize how many different shades of grey thre are. The detail and clarity are very good as is the composition, but the light playing off the folds shows all a photo has and should offer. Nicely done, David
