Oct 5: Bike beats plane.

How do I represent today in a photograph? Well, I had to go see a man about a cooker for the cottage. So I took the bike, a 90 mile round trip. It was sunny, it rained a bit, and then sunny again. Later there was a 'dirty' sunset. This pic should do then, huh? What it doesn't show is that I overtook an aeroplane. Yes, really. It was just taking off from an airstrip that ran parallel to the road. Zoom, straight past. I don't think I've ever done that before...

Ray, you're too clever. That's exactly where I was. Were you in the plane?

Cool image, David. Sounds like you were at Popham on the A30/A303?
