Linda dropped a CD on my desk yesterday evening. A duped CD, with no case and half a sheet of A4 with the track listing. Hmm, a demo CD I thought. It was still there this morning, so I put it in the player and gave it a listen. By track 3 I had the guitar out, and tried a few exploratory chords. But something was not quite right. Out with the Shubb, capo at the third fret and, ah, so that's their game. Familiar open chords gain a whole new new sound with a capo, and the whole character of the guitar changes. This is my Yamaha APX4, still capo'd at the third several hours later... b-r-i-i-i-n-n-g-g-g said the guitar.
