Jan 13: Not a studio pic

A fantastic sunny afternoon, and what am I doing? Stuck in the house, waiting for a very important call from a client the US. I couldn't even get out for 10 minutes in case they called! These flowers, lit by the sunlight, were contrasting nicely with my retro 80's fake black ash speakers behind. (OK, my old fake black ash speakers I bought in the 80's!) The colour was right, but the speaker cones spoiled the shot. In the end I just draped some black velvet over the speaker, manually focussed somewhere between the front and back of the subject and stopped right down to f22. Easy huh?

So what about that client call? It came through just after the sun went down...

Lovely! And those chrysanths.....excellent value for money - three weeks since purchase and they're still going strong!
