Spare wheel going spare

This is the spare wheel from my '68 Beetle. It was repainted painted when the car was restored back in '89 and fitted with a brand new Firestone. I never needed to use it. Now, after 14 years of sitting snuggly in the spare wheel well at the front of the '68, it's in a stack of four other unwanted VW wheels outside the back door, filling with rainwater and leaves.

But I go to see the '64 tomorrow!

The "C" reg 1965?? I had used a pressurised bottle.

I've seen some like that. With my '68, you pressurised the water bottle with a foot pump. A twice a week job in winter!

Don't you use it to pressurize the windscreen washer - or did that feature appear on later models ? ( I have had 4 Beetles through the years, none prior to the '71 model though )
Fine shot.

Hmm yes, and if they're not shifted soon you'll have a pissed off Linda to deal with!
